FEMENNINE FORTRESS

The artist was inspired by the power of feminine energy to create all her collections: She wanted her work to be a tribute to the capacity that women have to rebuild themselves and remain open hearted and willing even with all the struggles and battles they may face. 

The artist believes that women should embrace their femininity and understand how important it is to reconcile themselves with her energy and her own power.  she likes to paint a women that embraces her beauty, her body, her personality, she likes to say that she does not paint women, she paints the story behind those women. So her art can become an inspiration and spread a powerful and positive message that remind us on how beautiful it is to be a woman. 

Her Collection has evolved through years, and while her first pieces were very chromatic with some accents of red on the lips, then she moved to insert lots of color, which result on a more powerful message.  Her trade mark has always been the eyes, and she does not want or intend her work to be realistic, but instead to mix a bit of the playfulness of comics, pop art with a huge emphasis on the expression. 

The Femininity Fortress Collection lead her to obtain on 2017 the International Prize "Gaviota" as emerging artist for the passion and creativity posted on her work. Her Collection has been on Galleries and other Cultural spaces on Individuals and Collective Exhibitions.
